The First Class rank is the last of the three beginning ranks in Boy Scouts. Its completion marks the transition between learning about scouting skills, and beginning to lead the troop. In First Class, you will finish learning about scout skills, and begin to learn about different subjects such as your rights and obligations as a US citizen, and invite someone else to join Scouting. These are the last of the scout skills requirements - Star, Life, and Eagle are about leadership. By now, you have been in the troop for a while, and if you keep working on it, becoming an Eagle Scout is within your grasp.
